Our Story

Built around the farm

Cedar Pond Farms started as a working farm in New Market, Tennessee, and grew into a place where guests could stay in the middle of it. The barndominiums are European-inspired and genuinely comfortable. The apartments are stocked for work or a long visit. The farm itself, nearly seven acres of rolling East Tennessee countryside, is yours to walk. Collect eggs from the chicken barn, fish the two-acre catfish pond, or book a Highland cow encounter. The gelato is made with local ingredients and it'll be in your freezer when you arrive.

The details that make a stay

We travel a lot, and we bring what we find back to the properties. It shows up in the European styling, in kitchens stocked with real cookware and coffee, in plush linens and spa robes, in fast WiFi and a dedicated workspace, and in the small touches that make a place feel easy the moment you walk in. We run two kinds of stays. Farm Stays at Cedar Pond Farms range from a fish house on the catfish pond to barndominiums for larger groups. Executive Overnight apartments are built for work travel, university visits, and longer stays. Both sit in New Market and Jefferson City, Tennessee, with Cherokee Lake, Carson-Newman University, Knoxville, Sevierville, and the Smokies all within easy reach. Booking direct saves you the fees.

Two Kinds of Stays, One Farm

Farm Stays at Cedar Pond Farms or an Executive Overnight apartment, we help you find the right fit. One-bedroom barndos and apartments for couples and solo travelers. Whole barndominiums for larger groups, with a connecting door between 1AS and 1AN so each unit keeps its privacy.

Getting in

Easy arrival, private access

Guests have private entry to their own space, with free parking on the premises and a 50 amp Tesla charger on site. Your full address and access details come to you on booking, and where an entrance takes a little explaining we send a short walkthrough video so you know exactly where to pull in.

On the farm and nearby

Country quiet, everything close by

Nearly seven acres of barnyard, a 2-acre pond for fishing and canoeing, eggs to collect, U-Pick sunflowers, and Scottish Highland cows in the fields. Cow experiences can be added to any stay. Cherokee Lake, Douglas Lake, restaurants, and the Smokies are all within easy reach.
